How can I practically organise my life to work better? And if I already know that, why isn't my life working better? I don’t really need all the stuff the adverts tell me I need! I don’t really need the hundreds of friends I never speak to but are connected to online! Here’s a quick thought from 1 Thessalonians 4:11. Make it your ambition to lead a quiet life. I was thinking that it seems like those who are more ambitious tend to have ambitions that make life less quiet, and those who have quiet lives tend to be less ambitious. Not sure if that’s just a stereotype?!?! But in order for me to grow in love the Bible challenges me to put both together. So at Three Crosses over the next few weeks we’ll be thinking about how to do this, particularly by studying the Bible’s book of Proverbs.
